I love a summer rain and the sound of rain drops hitting a metal roof and even the lightening and thunder. A few days ago we had lots of rain and wind but instead of lightening there was a gorgeous rainbow lighting up the sky, a double rainbow at that. The wind was whipping the leaves all over the place and the sky was dark in the backyard but the front was showcasing that gorgeous full rainbow. The rain has continued to fall here, even the local schools have been closed because of flooding. There hasn't been anymore rainbows but I think this double one was enough for a while :)
