I caught this fellow hard at work this morning, a noisy one he is too. This woodpecker with his bright shock of red hair is a permanent fixture around the backyard. He is always pecking away at something, this morning some old railroad ties. I hope to be as industrious as he this Friday. I have an appointment to look at some vintage clothing today and I hope that I find some wonderful things :) So here's to an industrious Friday and a fabulous weekend!
oh gosh~~i can remember one summer a group of 3 or 4 of these little fellers being very industrious workers on the siding or our home!!!! it sounded just like jack hammers about 5:30 am each morning!!!! that was a funnnn summer!!!!!
